 Dr Vijay Raaghavan
Engagement Manager
As a senior member of the Medium team, Dr Vijay has anchored challenging assignments ranging from development of a primary healthcare model for the urban poor to redefining patient experience at a mid-sized hospital focusing on obstetrics and gynecology. He is particularly excited about opportunities in strategy, marketing and service quality and the role of technology in each of these areas.
Prior to Medium, he worked as a Senior Associate Consultant with Infosys in their Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences division. He executed a detailed process analysis for a 860-bed world-class tertiary care hospital in Bangalore. He has also been responsible for the execution of different Hospital Enterprise Performance Management Solution Suites in different client settings.
Dr Vijay completed his Master’s in Health Administration from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and was awarded a Gold Medal as the best outgoing student. He secured the University 3rd rank in the Dental Graduate Programme from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. For two years, he was the Resident Medical Officer and Coordinator for Creative Development with Amber Valley Residential School at Chikmagalur, Karnataka (a Café Coffee Day initiative).
Other than speaking at various management institutes, Dr Vijay has also spoken at an international conference on telemedicine solutions and authored articles on subjects ranging from ethics in healthcare to role of telemedicine solutions in rural India.
